Operations Manager – Luna Hut Sauna

Full-time | Monday–Friday | £33-36k based on experience | Brighton & coastal sites

Luna Hut is a community-led sauna business rooted in wellbeing, nature, and calm, thoughtful experiences. We run multiple beachside sauna sites across Sussex and are growing carefully, with a strong focus on safety, consistency, and sustainability.

We’re looking for an Operations Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day running and operational stability of the business.

This is a practical, judgement-led role. You’ll be the person holding the overview - absorbing what’s coming in from sites, keeping systems ticking over, and making sure issues are dealt with clearly and calmly. The role is about creating stability behind the scenes so the wider team can focus on delivering great experiences.

You’ll be based primarily from our Beaconsfield Road Sauna Café, with regular time spent across our coastal sites.

What you’ll be responsible for

• Acting as the main operational point of contact during the working week (Monday–Friday)

• Keeping oversight of day-to-day site operations and responding to issues as they arise

• Making practical operational calls and knowing when escalation is needed

• Maintaining and improving operational systems, processes, and standards

• Managing safety, risk, and weather-related considerations in line with agreed procedures

• Spotting recurring issues and helping improve how the business runs over time

• Working closely with site teams, maintenance, and admin to keep everything running smoothly

How this role fits

• You’ll focus on operations, systems, and judgement

• You’ll work alongside a dedicated Staff Manager, who looks after rotas, staffing, and people support

• Weekend and out-of-hours escalation sits with the founders, not this role

How we work

• Core hours are Monday–Friday

• Based from our Beaconsfield Road Sauna Café, with time on site across locations as needed

• This is not a work-from-home role, but does involve some moving between sites
