More about the May new moon in Taurus
The New Moon in Taurus on 16th May (21:01 BST) is the year’s first supermoon, bringing a slower, steadier energy centred around grounding, comfort and feeling more connected to yourself. Taurus is all about stability and simple pleasures, making this the perfect moment to pause, breathe deeply and spend time in nature; whether that’s on a walk along the seafront, a reflective sauna session, or simply taking a quiet moment for yourself.
It’s also a good time to reset routines and reflect on the areas of life that help you feel secure and supported, from work and finances to rest, wellbeing and self-worth. Think of it as an invitation to slow down, reconnect and gently set intentions for the months ahead.
What’s going on at Luna Hut saunas this month?
As always, there’s some great events coming up this month.
There’s our regular Yin and Sauna sessions with Amanda at Luna Hut Eastbourne (28th May), Jasmine’s monthly Friday Reboot Ritual Yoga & Sauna at Luna Hut Sea Lanes , Energising Aufguss ritual sessions with Nick every Monday morning, also at our Sea Lanes sauna, Ceci’s monthly Uplifting Aufguss (the first Friday of each month) and Singing Sauna with Teenie (9th June), both at our Brighton Sauna Café.
We also have Flo leading a special deeply restorative long form practice followed by an hour of communal, un-led sauna time at Luna Hut Sea Lanes on 13th June. The Summer Slow Flow Yoga & Sauna workshop will include a range of techniques to regulate the nervous system and restore the physical and energetic body. Including self-massage, meditation, gentle flow, sliding into Yin and restorative poses and concluding with yoga nidra. Expect sloth-like movement, evocative music, the offer of hands-on therapeutic touch and massage. You might just drift off!
Behind the scenes, we’re delighted to welcome Debs and Emma who are our new Customer Experience Managers! With them working across the week, it’ll now be even easier for our sauna community to get responses to any queries 7 days a week.
And we also have three fantastic sauna hosts joining us too - Anja in Worthing and Daelyn and Kam at Sea Lanes, so do say hello when you see them!
As well as new team members, there’s some exciting updates that we hope you’ll enjoy. Our Brighton Sauna Café now has four chilled and filtered tubs (giving even more opportunities to get that chilly dip in!), and we’ve added two more changing rooms at our Worthing sauna. And, due to demand, our Bognor Regis sauna is now open until 6pm on weekends and we’ll be looking to slowly introduce weekday hours in the near future. Just watch this space.
Of course, there’s also plenty happening in the communities surrounding our Sussex saunas too - so we’ve popped together a round-up of events that we’re looking forward to over the coming few weeks too.
